Halo-P Series 18G HDMI Active Optical Cable

The HALO‐HCP***M extends HDCP compliant HDMI® signals via a flexible, plenum rated, Active Optical hybrid cable assembly. Utilizing active circuitry in the permanent HDMI connectors, HDMI signals with video resolutions up to 4K@60Hz (18.0Gbps) can be transmitted on fixed length cables ranging from 5 meters up to 30 meters.

As a hybrid fiber optic cable, the HALO‐HCP is immune to electromagnetic (EM) and radio frequency (RF) interference, which could degrade signal performance, and the signals on the cable will not interfere with other sensitive electronic equipment. The copper components inside this cable offer ultralow capacitance for better EDID/DDC communications than other HDMI AOC cables on the market. This will address and remove interoperability issues.

Liberty’s new Space themed lines offer new features carried across the lines. The HALO‐HCP series offer Liberty’s High Retention L‐Grip feature for retention 3 times the normal standard. The heads are printed with the cable bandwidth and the cable length for ease of identification. The HALO‐ HCP series offer the Orbit ID rings in each package so an installer can color code the connectivity.

The HALO‐HCP series is a directional cable and we have marked it 3 times to prevent plugging it in backwards. The heads are different colors, the heads are marked Source and Display, and a big yellow label on the Display side round out our markings to prevent backward connection.
